Heather began her telecommunications career at Brooks Fiber Communications, one of Michigan’s pioneering Competitive Local Exchange Carriers (CLECs). Over the years, she has navigated major industry mergers, including those with WorldCom, MCI, Choice One, and One Communications. With a diverse background that includes roles in dispatch, repair, inside sales, and project management, Heather eventually found her niche in Project Management. At TDS Metrocom, her commitment earned her three President’s Club awards. She excels in training customers on Unified Communications, including web portals and conferencing solutions, and is passionate about helping clients embrace new technologies. Her enthusiasm for Unified Communications shines through in her efforts to empower clients, maximizing the mobility and flexibility these tools offer.
Heather is intrigued by the potential of AI and how it will integrate into various aspects of technology. She is eager to explore how AI will shape the future and drive innovation in the industry.
In her time at C3, Heather has proudly contributed by creating a standardized approach for welcome and follow up letters, elevating the company's client communication strategy. Additionally, she has become a strong advocate for embedding project management principles into all workflows, significantly strengthening the project management team and ensuring its success.
If Heather had to choose one word to describe her time at C3, she says it would be rewarding. She chose that word because “Being valued by your company and encouraged to only be your authentic self is very rewarding in a career. To be able to say you love your job is special.”
Heather was born and raised in Michigan. She has been happily married for 8 years and is the proud mother of one son. Recently, she rescued a dog from Pound Buddies, adding to the joy in her life. Heather stays active by participating in a local pool league. She also loves golfing, camping, and attending the Wheatland Music Festival.
