Ryan has been in the IT industry for over 25 years, beginning his career in 1996 while attending Michigan State University. After college graduation, Ryan spent 14 years at AT&T, where he held various sales and technical roles. Notably, he led the rollout of AT&T's hosted VoIP product across Michigan from 2006 to 2012. For the past 11 years, Ryan has been a key part of the team at C3 Technology Advisors, bringing extensive experience in phone systems, call centers/CX, and Artificial Intelligence.  Known as C3's UCaaS guru, Ryan expertly guides clients through technology evaluations that positively affect business outcomes.

What continues to capture Ryan’s interest and keep him motivated is the increasing rate of change in technology. He finds it fascinating how quickly the industry evolves. What he was doing five years ago has almost completely changed, and he expects the same for the future. This constant evolution drives Ryan to stay ahead of the curve and remain adaptable in the ever-changing tech landscape.

In his many years at C3, Ryan is most proud of helping build C3 from the ground up alongside Matthew (the CEO and Founder) and Tim VanderMel (fellow Tech Advisor) when it was just the three of them. Reflecting on how much the company has grown since those early days, he never imagined it would evolve into what it is today. Being a part of that journey and seeing C3 expand and succeed has been an incredibly rewarding experience, and he takes pride in contributing to its development and success.

When Ryan is not working, he is an avid outdoorsman who loves to stay active, both personally and with his family. Whether it's water skiing in the summer, snow skiing in the winter, or competitive beach volleyball, Ryan is always on the move. He has a passion for fishing, whitetail archery hunting, and finding ways to keep his two young children engaged in outdoor activities. Active in his community, Ryan is also involved with several charities. When he’s not enjoying the outdoors, he can be found traveling with his family, creating new adventures together. Ryan is married and enjoys balancing his love for family, work, and the outdoors.

If Ryan could describe his time at C3 in one word, it would be "exemplary," because the company consistently sets the standard for excellence and serves as a model in the industry.
