Kaitlin graduated from Grand Valley State University with a bachelor’s degree in Advertising & Public Relations, where she discovered her passion for hospitality and event planning. Her career has taken her across the U.S., giving her the opportunity to plan events from coast to coast, including Chrysler Ride & Drive shows and Spring Break events on South Padre Island. Since joining the tech industry in 2012, Kaitlin’s journey has remained both dynamic and fulfilling. She served on the board of the American Marketing Association of West Michigan for six years and recently joined Meeting Planners International to continue advancing her expertise in meeting and event planning.
Kaitlin’s motivation comes from her passion for planning events and creating unique experiences for others to enjoy. She’s also motivated by the challenges her team at C3 brings her way, which keep her engaged and inspired to grow.
Kaitlin is most proud of the C3 Tech Summit’s continual growth each year, as it expands and evolves to create an even greater impact.
Kaitlin is an avid outdoor enthusiast who enjoys a wide range of activities, including camping, trail running, mountain biking, stand-up paddleboarding, pickleball, skiing, and yoga under the trees. Her adventures are often shared by her husband, friends, and her two Australian Shepherds, who love the outdoors just as much as she does. When not outdoors, Kaitlin enjoys unwinding with creative hobbies like nail art and stamp designs, as well as cooking healthy meals, both at home and around the campfire. She finds fulfillment in combining her love for running and event planning by volunteering on various local race committees, helping to organize and support community running events.
For Kaitlin, "memorable" perfectly captures her experience at C3. The relationships and unique moments shared with the team, suppliers, and clients make every day something special.

Beyond The Bio
If Kaitlin could live through any past decade, it would be the 70s. She’s drawn to the era’s love for VW buses, tie-dye, and enjoying barefoot outdoor concerts during Michigan summers.
Kaitlin would rather run 31+ Miles on dirt than any miles on pavement.
Kaitlin's world revolves around her 2 dogs and 4 cats. Her dogs are so spoiled that she handmakes their food a couple of times a month so they can eat a fresh cooked chicken dinner at every meal!
