About 2 years ago, a close mentor asked me a BIG question – ‘If you could choose to be a CMO or COO, which would you choose?’
My wheels started turning. . .I’d be lying if I said I’d never imagined joining the C-Suite one day, but I was honored and humbled to have an executive I admired and respected asking about my vision and ambitions.
It was at that moment that I realized that while I was comfortable as a marketer and could see myself as a future CMO, I was more excited and invigorated by thoughts about what it would take to become an operations leader. So, I weighed my options and contemplated what I REALLY love to do . . .
I love to build a brand, but I also love to build a team.
I love to learn about the customer’s journey, but I also love to learn about the company’s trajectory.
I love to create graphics, but I also love to create processes and structure.
Then I realized. . .I can love both, but I can only be GREAT at one, which is what lead me to move into Operations.
Constantly being challenged to learn about how we can become more efficient, more process driven, more structured, more agile, and leaner. . .It’s exciting and this is only the beginning.
Now, business aside, here are a few fun facts about me!
